Anaerobic Digestion
Anaerobic Digesters harness naturally occurring bacteria to break down organic compounds in organic waste streams. Methane based Biogas is generated as a by-product of the digestion process and can be captured for use as fuel for electrical generators and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) for use in automation.
Following the digestion process, residual solids are separated with the remaining liquid going to the PCTP for further treatment to provide a nutrient rich organic soil fertiliser.
